Tearing apart the lion

TEARING APART THE LION
This tickled me
Judges 14:5-6
Samson went down to Timnah together with his father and mother. As they approached the vineyards of Timnah, suddenly a young lion came roaring toward him. The Spirit of the LORD came powerfully upon him so that he tore
the lion apart with his bare hands as he might have torn a young goat. But he told neither his father nor his mother what he had done.

If I 'tore' a lion apart... There's no way I wouldn't tell the world! I mean, imaging the bragging rights. But it was just all in a day's work for Samson.
But there is this 'lion' who keeps asking for a beating... And oh, if only we would remember that the same Spirit who came upon Samson is in us, we'd tear him up. Because, get this, he's not even a real lion, he just roars LIKE one, you can check. (1 Pet 5:8)
He was created for the choir, not for war.
So next time he shows up with those fake roars, remember you have The Spirit which makes men tear apart lions. Good night. Happy lion hunting...
