Till Papa Richie read this verse on Tuesday, I'd never really noticed it. Of course I'd read it before, it just never hit me hard enough.

Matt 28:9
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

So Mary and Mary (Magdalene) went to look for Jesus on Easter Sunday in His tomb, but it turned out unlike every other tomb before and after it, that this particular tomb was only slightly used : Christ had risen . After defeating death, He rose, and walked out. Mind you, the angel rolled the stone away so we could see into the tomb, not so Jesus could come out. From that day He had started appearing, disappearing and passing through walls.

But according to John, they met Him not too long after, and what's the first thing our Champion over death says? ALL HAIL.

What's the only logical thing to do when you meet the only Person who has defeated death? You flow like your head no dey! You hold His feet and you worship with everything in you, because that's the greatest priviledge there is.
