True Worship 1

Revelation 3:20
Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man heads my voice and opens the door I will come in and dine with him and he with Me.

We have all believed at some point that this is Christ reaching out to the lost, I mean unbelievers, but 6 verses up Jesus said: And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write...

I heard a story of a man who was sacked from church because he came straight from the farm and so his appearance was not exactly too good. As he stood outside someone came to stand beside him and asked, "So they've sacked you too?" He turned to answer and realised, this was our Lord before him.

In many churches we are worshipping seriously, but the one we claim to worship is still outside knocking on the door. He's not been invited to His own worship. We were worshipping chords, lights and feelings all along. The message is simple today: LET JESUS BACK INTO HIS CHURCH!
